This beautiful Mini Jersey / Angus–Hereford cross heifer calf (light brindle pattern) is available and would make an excellent future family milk cow, homestead addition, or small-scale breeding prospect.

She is dam-raised and growing up in a calm, low-stress environment, while still being well accustomed to human interaction. Her dam has proven to be an exceptional mother, with one unassisted birth and no issues with bonding, feeding, or milk production.

    Both parents reside on our farm and are known for their excellent temperaments.

 

Our herd is *vaccine-free and holistically managed. During the winter months, cattle are supplemented with organic, soy-free grain (limited corn).

*No vaccines have been administered since the animals arrived at our farm. We have maintained a closed herd since October 2024, with most of our animals residing on our farm since 2022. This calf has not received vaccines, antibiotics, or chemical dewormers. Herd health is supported through holistic management practices, including routine fecal sampling and monitoring to guide care decisions.

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a calf, whether the calf is being held until weaning or until pickup, which typically occurs 10–14 days after receipt of the deposit. Deposits are non-refundable except in the event the calf becomes seriously injured or deceased while in the care of Two Willows Homestead.

    Calves will be offered for sale at approximately three (3) months of age and are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Interested buyers must schedule a farm visit or FaceTime appointment within seven (7) days of inquiry.

    Purchase of a calf requires submission of the deposit and execution of the Livestock Purchase Contract (LPC). The LPC is intended to protect both Buyer and Seller and is binding upon execution.

    Calves are weaned at approximately six (6) months of age, typically two (2) weeks prior to transfer to the Buyer. Following weaning, calves are acclimated to human interaction and treats. Halter introduction will be initiated; however, full halter training is not guaranteed.

    A Veterinarian Health Certificate will be provided by Seller at the time of pickup, certifying that the calf has been examined by a licensed veterinarian and found to be in good health and free from communicable disease at the time of inspection. The Health Certificate reflects the calf’s condition only at the time of examination, and Seller makes no additional health or performance guarantees beyond this certification.

    Deposits may be submitted via Venmo, PayPal, or Cash App.

    Pickup arrangements must be agreed upon prior to execution of the contract and payment of the deposit. The Buyer is required to pick up the calf on or before the agreed-upon pickup date.

    If the Buyer fails to pick up the calf by the agreed-upon date and does not communicate with the Seller, the Seller will attempt contact. The Buyer shall have seventy-two (72) hours from the scheduled pickup date to respond. Failure to respond within this timeframe shall result in forfeiture of the deposit, and the calf may be relisted for sale.

    If the Buyer responds within the seventy-two (72) hour period, a daily housing fee will be assessed until pickup, for a maximum period of two (2) weeks from the original pickup date. If the calf is not picked up within this two-week period, the deposit shall be forfeited, and the Seller shall have no further obligation to the Buyer.

    By submitting a deposit and executing the Livestock Purchase Contract, the Buyer acknowledges, understands, and agrees to all terms stated herein.
